Autopilot: Specify email permission when importing

If you're importing your contacts from another system, it is very important that you carry over whether you have permission to email them. All email sent via Autopilot requires opt-in permission from the recipient.

To do this, you need to map your unsubscribe field to the "Opted Out of Email" field in Autopilot:

You need to format your field as follows to be compatible with Autopilot:

• "Yes" or "True": you don't have permission to email the contact
• "No" or "False": you have permission to email the contact

If you leave the field blank, the contact will be treated as having email permission.
