If you're importing your contacts from another system, it is very important that you carry over whether you have permission to email them. All email sent via Autopilot requires opt-in permission from the recipient.
To do this, you need to map your unsubscribe field to the "Opted Out of Email" field in Autopilot:
You need to format your field as follows to be compatible with Autopilot:
- "Yes" or "True": you don't have permission to email the contact
- "No" or "False": you have email permission to email the contact
If you leave the field blank, the contact will be treated as having email permission.
